The Jackson County Osteopathic Medical Association is a divisional society of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS).

The purpose of the Jackson County Osteopathic Medical Association is to serve as a liaison with MAOPS to promote the osteopathic profession and to provide an opportunity for professional camaraderie and support.

Some of the activities are :

       










communicate with local, state ,and national legislators about issues impacting the osteopathic profession and health care

staff a monthly general medical clinic at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic

Support certain philanthropic activities that impact the health of our community, such as , the police Drug Awareness Program, Special Olympics, and the Kansas City Science Fair

work with the Metropolitan Medical Society of Greater Kansas City to provide input from the Community to local projects related to health care
